This year I've decided to keep everything low, from Eid to my birthday celebration. No big party, no loud music, no booty shaking and no crowd which possibly could get me more birthday pressie. Thanks to the resort's management whom kind enough to host a memorable 3days/2nights birthday getaway - the hospitality, excellent room service (or should I say resort service?), mouth-watering dishes and the magnificient view, are more than I could ever wish for.
I was like a little queen, wrapped in cashmere, and tucked into a bed full of roses by heavenly mother nature - that is how they made me feel.
Forgive me for my limited vocabulary. I am ran out of beautiful words to describe how beautiful the experience with Four Seasons Resort, Langkawi.
1st when I stepped into this fortress, it felt like I was so lost in Samarkand and Sinbad will show up in no time.
But as you go further in, you will starting to feel the twist of arabic - indian - mauritius then tropical milieu.
Wahh.. looks like bridal shot pun ada.. heh. Perasan.
The place so peaceful & quiet.. just like a Forbidden Palace..
The reception area.
At Four Seasons Resort, they won't allow you to stand/sit waiting in line like other resorts. Once you in, you will be cosily seated at outer part of their reception counter, facing their large pool (the 1st picture), while enjoying sipping on the coolest, refreshing kaffir lime juice and a cold towel. A very lovely lady will come to accompany and chatting with you like she knew you for ages. You don't even feel like you waiting to be checked in...she smiles, you laughs and suddenly she handed you with small paper for you to sign as a confirmation that you are now checking into a man made heaven...
Before they take you into your pavillion, they will bring you around the resort with a buggy, showing you the spa building, gym area, pool, restaurants, access to their private beach and beautiful and beautiful landscapes.
Ikan - Ikan Restaurant
After some of Ohhh & aaahhhss (with mouth close, malu le), I finally get to see my room! No, Villa!
My unit is called Lower Melaleuca Pavillion, with the size of 732sq ft, with a lush view of tropical landscape right outside my door. Squirrels and colorful birds (which I never seen before) jumping and flying freely around you adds the serenity and snow white kinda feeling leh!
"Hi, My name is Queen and I live here" =)
The Villa & suites in Four Seasons provides you both sides of the world, traditional & modern senses. While the villas and restaurant built on old traditional tropical houses concept, they are equipped with hi tech gadget which you can't find in some of the city hotels!
Woo.. look how pimped the torchlight. Hurmmm wonder if they manage to pimp a laptop and Blackberry in a same way le?
Love everything to the bits. The toiletries are uniquely blend with bergamot, ylang ylang, ginger and all sort of natural stuff used for the spa treatment.
and outdoor soaking tub with a shower of a tropical rainfall alike!
Posing habis I tell u...
A total soul healing...
Bridge to Ilham pavillion. I saw a newly wedded having their wedding dinner in here. The resort staffs decorated this pavillion with candles and fresh roses... oh my.. it was so beautiful!
Four Seasons private beach. It was so quiet, as if you can walk naked in here.
The breakfast was awesome! They have the freshest wide range of local, english, japanese, arabic breakfast which spoilt me to the core. I was like in forever heaven when I manage to have my all time favorites - smoked salmon, buttered fishes, potatoes, sausage and fresh mango early in the morning!
Wah, nice shots! You must have a wonderful time there!
ReplyDeleteI love those beach!! It reminds me of my trip to Karamburnai Resort in KK few years ago -_-"
