What my dream job again?
After watching "Drag Me To Hell", I found that the movie Director, Sam Raimi miss the concept of the reality of conventional banking/loan/credit systems. It is not the customer who drag the bankers to hell, but vice versa.
Everybody's has a dream job, a big company to join in, a good position to rule and the list keep on and on and on...
Endless food galore and the guilt after it.
woke up here in the morning...
weekend away from the city in the name of "hotel inspection"..
Party and invitation all year round..
Everybody's has a dream job, a big company to join in, a good position to rule and the list keep on and on and on...
To me, I dont know what to dream anymore. No matter how I wish that one day I will end up in the big organization where its name listed on the 1st board on KLSE, free insurance coverage, 1 month annual leave which can utilize anytime within a year, claimable miscellaneous expenses and the list keep on and on and on...
Working in a small inbound travel agency can be very frantic but after sometime, I cant tell whether it's a heaven or hell anymore. It took me to a very God-damned position but I still managed to laugh out of it and in someother time, everything is so in order and well composed but then, back at home, Im tossing in my bed, having series of nightmares with my eyes open.
One thing (or many things) I've come to notice, I, unconciously, develop somekind of hatred towards every little thing that appear to me in this place and I deny the fact that it started to grow in me.
Their home town food which always suddenly showed up on office table...
Their hometown chocolate bars..
The Matriyoshka - their traditional wooden dolls
Their version of Cosmo and sometimes Playboy
Everynow and then I have to pretend that I understand what's on my table...
Be with and played with those kids whose barely taller then me during summer program
Facing the fact that these guys are actually underage kids and very illegal for me to play with...
Caucasian baby during working hours...
Endless food galore and the guilt after it.
woke up here in the morning...
weekend away from the city in the name of "hotel inspection"..
Party and invitation all year round..
..and last but not least, a very handsome boss.
All these..makes me think, what's my dream job again?

Gold Coast by 108 clicks : By AirAsia.
I know some of you zealously wanna be like Ringo a.k.a Cheesie @ cheeserland or KennySia, they travel all around the world gaining experience, traffic and $$ while you guys busy finishing your paperwork, catching up with deadlines (dielane), tearing up your hair for upcoming exams or sit at home doing nothing, staring at your monitor (or uncensoredgutterpost?)worsening your long sighted problems on daily basis. And ahh.. some of their trip were fully paid by some agency somemore.
Not all of us (including me) are able to be like her/him, but hey, dont give up yet.. there is a short cut for getting at least (once in your lifetime) a free travel for 5D/4N to Gold Coast Australia~!
It's easy as diggin up your nose;
1) Just log on to AirAsia X-Gold Coast Tourism "Quest for Gold" ,
2) Register by using your normal id and password, or by using facebook or friendster account, or use all 3 methods. Then you will get your unique code right away, sent to your email.
3) and start collecting your gold token just by visiting here and here (2 token.. ermm 106 to go argghh).
Dont fret, now it is time for you to use all the your contact list in your facebook & friendster,or twit them in a useful way rather than "guys, I just finished popping out my zits today, anyone wanna catch up for Transformers tomorrow"? For every 3 friends (who accept your invitation, will entitle you another 1 gold token).
So what are you waiting for? Start networking lah.
P/S: Dont forget to invite your boss to join in, he/she might be interested too~!

Be Royale.
Friday 19th, was invited to The Royale Chulan Night of Appreciation for Airlines & Travel Agent. Been looking for this moment since this hotel had its soft opening in February 2009. We were told on the concept of this new hotel is built with Malaysian Heritage architecture and distiction it has to offer.
While other 5 stars hotels commonly flaunt the millennium concept of urban chic, minimalist and zen atmosphere, The Royale Chulan proudly capture the concept of an opulence royal palace in every corner of the 4th hotel under Bousted Holdings's property development in hotel operations.

Located next to Malaysian National Trust and Karyaneka Craft Complex, between 5 - 15 minutes walk from KL luxurious shopping hub such as Pavillion, Star Hill Gallery and Lot10, this new hallmark never fails to wow us even the embellishment hasn't gone through the final touch up.
The air of fresh paints lingers as we walked through the white alley which lead us to their magnificent rooms which currently operating on 50% of their total 300 deluxe and suites. The hotel also have 102 well appointed service apartments and studios for longer staying guests.
Initially I was trying to picture the look of the rooms and the entire property, I cant help it by having Hotel Istana projected into my mind. Until.. I was so wrong.
One of the Fine Dining restaurant in The Royale Chulan, called "Bunga Emas" (Gold Flower) offers its guest the experience of traditional malay dining style which is "makan bersila" in one of its private dining area.
Ya it looks like Japanese style, but the food are totally different.
This is coffee house called Warisan Cafe. A buffet restaurant with a breathtaking terrace.
It is a huge property and it has it's own small river stream in man made garden, Taman Sari.
When I was walking out from Warisan Cafe to this Taman Sari, I passed by a beautiful sitting area which turned me into Alice in Wonderland.
The surroundings is sooo white until I unable to open my eyes.
To the pool area.
The rooms.

Everything is so grande and I wish I was the one who win the lucky draw of 2days 1 night stay at The Royale Chulan Executive Suite. sad.
After finished with hotel tour, we headed to the Heritage Club & Cigar Lounge for the cocktails and entertainment.
The Alleycats.
Then now that I noticed that along this time I have a very handsome boss (no, the guy in checkers shirt not my boss, I mean the other one). Not just handsome, but very considerate one ler.
