New pet....

I was chatting with Owen, one of my buddy in facebook, yesterday, and we talked about his new pet, Sammy, a hamster. His hamster is so cute and fat so I suggested him to get Sammy a room mate, maybe a big fat cat. He was like.. "Oi Oi..." Haha..


Then he asked me do I have any pet.. and I replied.. "yep, and his is D3000" and he was like "D3000? what kind of pet is that? A washing machine?" We both laughed and continue chatted on each other's pet.







Yep, I am now having a new pet.. I called him Big Boi. Thanks to "G", one of the blog writer in effguide.com for helping me to choose my 1st dSLR camera. Not just that, he even helped me to get it with unbelievable price, and gave me a quick lesson on how to operate it especially for the night scene. Ok lah, actually that one was his GF taught me ok. Lucky G to have such a skillfull sweet & cute GF. Seriously.

So, the very first moment I held Big Boi in my palms...I was like.."oh.. one of my small sub-dreams came true"... and this was my 1st lesson, oh how to take a close shot picture.


An Ashtray.

So.. I will always remember and treasure this shot.. an ashtray shot...heee..

After some explaination on shutter speed, aperture, auto - manual focus and a bit about prime lense and other fancy gadgets (which got my eyes blinked very fast like, an algebra to 5 year old kid leh) Then I continued with a night scene lesson.

So this is where his GF came to teach me on the artsy side...yep, when it come to imagination.. girl's rock yah?

After that... it is just me & Big Boi alone.. silent moment together... next morning, I flew to HK, and these are among of what Big Boi & I captured together...

We celebrated Eid 2009 together for the 1st time.. bring him home to meet my family.. Since I have Big Boi.. I always cant wait to see the night falls...

I waited for 10 second for him to let go his package.. but he seems never want to..

I am not lonesome anymore. Big Boi is here to stay, to seize those beautiful moments right through my eyes through his.
