Hey, If there is Belated birthday wishes, so Happy Belated New year also can.
Well, you can't blame me for being too anxious about the 1st ever event/project that I have to lead for my office. FIRST EVER!
It was my office and I 'baby project' for the year 2013. Jazz Night with Salamiah Hassan & Atillia Haron at The Venue, Pavillion on 4th January 2013.
Since it was on 4th January.. so everyday before that date was a worrysome for me. In fact, I've been worrying about it months before that! :((
While the guests enjoying the show, I sneaked out to take this shot for the memory, 1st memory I engraved for year 2013.
..and this project couldn't be perfectly complete without a great teamwork from the rest of the family!
Thumbs up for the great lighting and sound system at The Venue. Thank you Mama & Atillia for singing your heart out that night. Not to forget Hardy Arbi entertaining, great spontaneous emcee through out the night.
A week before new year I brought Mike back to my hometown, to meet with a part of my family, tho. And since Cameron Highland is like 1.5 hours from my hometown, so I brought him up to see our tea farm :P
I don't know that Cameron Highland still can be so colder & foggier than Genting Highland!

The truth is, this was my very 1st time to walk through Cameron Highland's tea farm plantation although I've been to Cameron Highland for 100th times in my life.
Usually I just stopped by the tea shop, sipped its warm tea and looked down the hill and bored.
Did some macro shot with my Samsung S3. Suddenly I miss BigBoi!

Mike also get a chance to swim in a cold small stream where I used to picnic when I was 17 :)
I was surprised he did this. I remember I never done this before, here. Too cold!
2 weeks before that I found this at Nando's while I had my favorite lonely lunch.
Nando's is on the top of my fast food list. I don't know whether Nando's is a fast food or not. Because I don't think they need few minutes to prepare the meals, especially when it comes to marinate their delicious flaming chicken!
So I had to try this. So I bought Hot Peri Peri sauce.
I modified it a bit by sprinkled it with garlic powder together with Peri sauce, salt & pepper
and marinate it overnight instead of 20 minutes :)
End result. Well, it didnt look pretty since I didn't serve it with fresh garden salad! But the taste just like what I always had in the restaurant!!! OMG!!! #magic
This recipe is strictly for the lazy! Too easy but TASTY!
3 weeks before that, Mike and I attended a birthday party of a close friend.
..and ate the Russian salad. Yea, it looks disgusting, but it tastes so good!
Fast forward to 31st December eve.. here I am at KLCC to let Mike experience the greatest fireworks in the city centre. Well, it has been a very long time I hadn't celebrate New Year eve on the streets with giant crowds.. I started to get dizzy and hot, so I asked Mike to go somewhere for a drink and dinner and walked back to KLCC 20 minutes before midnight. Oh well, we unable to make it to the lake!
Despite of fireworks lousy view and obnoxious crowds, for a second, I am happy to get my new year kiss from my boyfriend :)
...anyways, I was still frowning and mad right after that. And Mike says -
"by this time next year, you may be celebrating New Year Eve with me somewhere at New York Times Square..."
and I started to dream about it since then...
:)
