Banana over Mango....

(This post is dedicated to all mango lovers all around the world..)
Im so banana over this yellow thingy fruit since forever already, until I discover the temple of its own.. at Bangsar Jalan Telawi, opposite fruity EON bank. "Mango Mania" that how it is called and it supplies me my weekly dosage>>>>

Believe me, it is nothing like other fruity base yoghurt ice cream like lecka lecka or Baskin Robin, this is much more better. Dont forget to ask for "water lily" mango as your toppings cuz... ahhh.. this type of mango taste like ermmm...a cube of sugar, marinated in honey, coated with candy and wrapped again with lotsa sugar powder, again and again and again. This is sweeter than your first kiss. Guaranteed.

99% of the menu contains mango.

This is "Sweet and Sour Chicken Chop" with lotsa mango. (But I prefer they grill the chicken, not fried like this one, maybe next visit can ask them to grill it) But the gravy... emmpphh... yummi.

But, please try this...it taste very different and refreshing. The chicken patty also taste damn yummi. It was more like ermm home made patties.


So, only 1% of the menu is non mango. Like this one. But taste good too. Look small but, actually the meal is a huge portion for 1 person.. I cant finish it ler.

They have lots of other thing, like mango crepe, mango smoothies, mango cheese cake, mango pie, BBQ mango fruit~!!, and more and more and all infused with mango.

Yep, I love mango and oh.. I also like Mangosteen ya.. See? cuz it contain word "mango" there. Wish someday I will find a Mangosteen Mania around KL later on.

I have to cancel my lunch at Mango Mania cuz my friend asked me to try out the Grilled BBQ Salmon in here... cuz she wonder why I stop mentioning about the fish of my life - Salmon, for quite sometime already. I tell you why I stop eating Salmon, this is cuz I had a very bad, shitty experience of eating BBQ salmon at Breeks, Vivo City, Singapore. It was so bad, until kills my sense of eating salmon since then. When I thinking of a Salmon, I wanna vomit....

And this is the trial to cure me. My friend just cant accept the fact that I do not want eat Salmon anymore...until...

Actually I ordered this, and that grilled bbq fish was for my friend but when both plates arrived, she switched it. .She seriously, zealously wanted to help to cure my hatred toward salmon. Wooo..she really hates me hating salmon. And she even paid for the lunch.

Appetizers. you should try that marinated olive. Taste like "jeruk" fruits but, nicer. First time I had a sour thingy in my tongue without crimping my face. I finished all 5 and left 1 piece to my friend. And the bread... milky...love every bite of it.

This bistro has 2 floors. The upper one is the bar. When the night fall, you can come here, fishing some fish, not just the grilled one, but a white, big - shark - alive - fish, perhaps. Haaaaa.....

Everybody and everywhere talking about "Go Green", well... here you dont just go green, but go yellow, go red, go purple.. in a yummy but still doesnt affect the world at all kinda way.

So long never eat outside, along the busy street, and 1 day me and my work mates decided to go al fresco. She asked me " hey, wanna take a light bite?"


We dont even know this place even exist (duh) but maybe some of you who uses LRT everyday sure know one...It is located right infront of Ampang Park, at the Ampang LRT station entrance.The shop is very simple and cute, I swear no animals involved in their food preparation at all~!!! So you the pet, animal lovers - this is your place.




They also have gift pack fruit thingy. The box for the gift pack also cool, looks like a mooncake gift box. Very exclusive for a fruit...




They have a mix and match drinks and the price is cool.

Colorful menu says it all...Make us wanna order everything in it...Nice glass cup...

But the real one? Plastic cup~!!! what the...this shop doesnt pass the Go Green - Save the Earth requirement larrr...

I tried "Dippity Strawberries" yoghurt drink - which is a combination of strawberries and pumpkin seeds - a very safe choice.

and my girlfriend tried something sassy - "Passionate About You" : Passionfruit + red apples + kiwi. Sweet and sour kinda taste.. funny taste I would say..

Anyway, there is a story behind this salad. We choose this because inside their menu shows a very colorful range from Apple, Banana, strawberries to the coral salad.. but when the plate arrive - ehs? where is the strawberries ler? where is the banana? Warao.. kena scammed ler...

I hate when having my order different then the picture inside the menu. Why food business is like this ler? Same goes to McD or KFC lah.. inside picture..wahh the salad with the Mc Chicken so plump and green. But when it reach you leh? Cant even recognize is it salad or what lar?

Ok la, forgive them la since their salad is damn big you know.. and it only costs RM6.90 and can share for 2 peeps and they put alot of stuff inside. "The Greenie's Wish": Celery + coral salad + pumpkin seeds + walnut + apple + pineapple + tomato cherry + red and yellow capsicum + brocolli + dried plum. Dang.. thats alot~! Ok la.. forgive u la.

They also selling strawberries from Korea.

Ok la, better then Cameron's. No wonder they skip the strawberries from our salad plate. Cuz they already saw we have a pack of it on our table I guess..

No need to describe how the taste is... all strawberries taste the same.

They also have salad menu called "Obama Salad". Really meh? Obama eat this? Hurmm gonna try on my next visit.

In Kl got alot of story shop lah...Before this is Bread Story, now is Fruit Story.. next is what? Sex Story? Selling all kinda of kinky costume and gadget openly? (Nah.. "I need House" at Mid Valley is not good enuff ler... that shop is very lousy)

In the end, we walked out feeling full and guilty free for the first time...

Waaa...Since my boss went to the Exhibition in Moscow, we got few hotels added into our list. This time is called "The Nomad Su Casa", located along one of the busiest road in KL, Jalan Ampang, just next to the Thai Embassy (good location for those getting Thai visa). Last time I remember it was called only SuCasa.. and now since it is taken by new management, so they added "The Nomad".

The building formerly was known as service apartment, and now they turn it into the hotel. The rates is quite cheap by looking at the room sq ft and the facilities. In fact their 2 bedrooms category is bigger than my apartment lah :( They have standard category with 1 bedroom and 2 bedrooms as well as Deluxe. Rates ranging (MYR 200++ - 300++ per night). The different between these 2 categories in only its funiture. Standard uses old ones such as big bulky TV and Deluxe have new sofas and LCD TV. The rest, are the same. (1 bedroom - 689sq ft, 2 bedroom - 950 sq ft)

Deluxe kitchen area - they have it all, from kettle to rice cooker, from napkin to the dining set plate. Perfect for a family or for you guys who wanna throw weekend party.

What I love about the hotels in KL, no matter they are fall under 2 stars or 3 stars category, they still have bath tub and glassed door shower space. Unlike in Singapore, with 3 stars price in KL, you will get lousy budget hotel and room with no view. Dont mention about bath tub lah, they have water heater is good already.

This hotel is so new renovated until the spa centre still under construction. They have no pub, but no worries, you can find nearest pub/club called Quartro, Avenue K by walking distance.

Her name is Tivoli. She is my new companion. At least she never lie and hurt someone like me. And owh...she also can ease my agony thoughts of quitting my job (on daily basis) when I fed up with workloads and 1001 ridiculous Russian Tourists request with their bookings. When I look at her.. there she goes.. a masterpiece, a token, a proof, a reward for myself after I work my ass off for the year 2008. And it made me smile...


Inside my car, she sit down quietly beside me, and everytime I look at her, ahh she is gorgeous. And I smile. She carries all my necessity, and most important, she make me looks good. "I love to hang out with you.. you are good for my image" ~ get it?


Then my friend said, lets celebrate it.. so we went to Madam Kwan at Pavillion, the taste of the homeland. I keep stuffing my tummy the food from all over the world.. until forgot, nothing can beat our own. And I bump into one blog, this girl keep bragging about Japanese food like she was born and meant to be Japanese, and Japanese is somekind like a "God" to her.. Does she know that back in 60-70 years ago those Japanese cut her ancestors head?


Dont know how many of you been to Madam Kwan.. but sure many lar oh?


















This is called Assam Vegetables - RM18.00 (if im not mistaken). The original vege inside were Ladyfinger, tomato and onion. But we requested them to put Eggplant... and tell you.. it was yummy...

But I never shy to admit..no matter how classy I dressed up sometimes, hang out at classy place, sleep at most of the nice 5 stars hotels, had American for breakfast, mexican for lunch and all westernize for dinner, got cravings for Italian, Paris, European Designer stuff...but I still manage to keep both feet on the ground..and admit..I am Malaysian. And it is still not enough for you to brag just about the durians and Orang Utan.. until you did not admit.. u crazy about petai... (and I seriously hope can shove this petai to that Japanese wanna be blogger..)


We only ordered 2 of these with plain rice, and swear, these dishes actually can fit for 4 persons. 2 of us unable to wallap it all.. wish can da bao..but, shy ler. Im planning to bring those Russian to try this in my next visit to Madam Kwan.

As you know, karaoke nowadays unlike old times le..pay per song in lousy lousy smelly room..They came with buffet dinner/lunch and refillable soft drinks. Well, the food are lousy tho.. but since it came with the package...just eat.

I dont bother to take a pic of others plate, cuz it surely messy and ugly since everyplate looks like "food mountain" and mixed altogether like the food already in the tummy.

The scallops taste bad, taste like it was dead long time ago...





The rice is hard and taste very bad, seems like it was frozen long time ago.. I think that "Japanese wanna be" Blogger gal can do this better. Since she cook Japanese food everyday.



Nothing much I can say about these fruits cuz they taste the same no matter where you get it. Lucky it didnt taste like "was cut long time ago"


The food were eatable lah. Dont worry. It is for tone deaf people anyway.


End of the day, reach home tired. Eyes checked. No tears. Heart checked. 50/50. Am I happy? Not really.


But I know.. I am moving on...Dear God, give me strength..
